The Shank Comic has arrived!

We’ve finished the Shank comic, and now we’re releasing it for free!

People have consistently asked us about making a comic, so we figured — what the heck — let’s just make one! Featuring art by Jeff Agala and Vangelis Christou, the Shank comic is a brief bridge between Shank 1 and 2. Part of the fun of being independent and owning our own properties is we can do whatever we want with it.

So, go ahead and download the digital version for free! You have 2 choices:

A nice comic!

But I have a question…
The two guys and the woman shout after cesars death “Kill ‘em!”.
Doesnt means this “Kill them”?
But Shank is one guy.

If I am wrong, excuse me. English isnt my first language.

Can somebody tell me the controls for the X360/PS3 cause I got it on the PC and I want to adjust my controller(not an X360 controller)?

  I also play the Origin version. here’s the solution: just hit alt+tab and navigate back to the game again. The cursor will go normal. And in the Survival mode, when you want to buy an item, get the mouse waaay out of the field so that the item you need is highlighted, then hit space.

i am not a falcone fan but i think its a good idea

  I agree with you men , I am a BIG Shank fan,I love Shank, he is my hero, I love those 2D grafics but the best thing is Shank’s personality/character. The scenario of Shank 2 is something SUPER-DUPER-WOW because it’s very close to the reality, and it shows off how SUPER Shank can be…! (Corina is AWESOME, no lie) now -about Falcone- I don’t think he deserves to have a main role in the plot because he is a trador; he decided to save hiself instead of saving his friend (That’s why Eva is dead). But it would be SOOOO F*CKIN’ SUPER if klei decided to make another Shank sequel! :) (Shank 3) but it is too early to talk about that now.
  PS: I love you klei and hank you for creating my hero. If you decide to make sequel, I hope Corina will be Shank’s girlfriend

I have two questions.

Are there any plans for more survival maps in the future? That would be nice.

When I deactivate blur in the settings the game doesnt recognizes that after a restart.
Can you implent that in the PC patch?

  Yep — there was an issue with saving graphical settings on Steam that we fixed a few days ago. In terms of DLC — alas no plans for DLC yet.

  I agree, in Shank 1, Shank’s voice was AWESOME!! I’m not saying that I don’t like his voice in Shank 2, but I believe it was better in the 1st game…

I finish the game on hard an normal dificulty
got falcone calssic defender boogie evil rin horror all of corina costumes but i still can finish all 30 waves to unlok hobbo every time when ther are only 8 zombies left my or my brother die becuse the zombies are moving to fast
why do you make the zombies so fast and so hard to kill?

Mark of the Ninja Special Edition DLC Coming This Summer! 19th March 2013

Every since Mark of the Ninja was released, we’ve had numerous requests for more. The trouble is, we very intentionally built Ninja to be a complete experience, both in terms of its mechanics and narrative.

But you all kept sending us messages. Then we considered what a “Criterion Collection” version of the game might be like. And with that in mind, we’ve been putting together Mark of the Ninja Special Edition. Here’s what you can look forward to in the Special Edition:

- A new level, set in a flashback to the early life of Dosan (the enlightened tattoo artist) that will set the stage for the events that transpire in Mark of the Ninja.

- A new style of play, which includes a nonlethal takedown ability, and provides a hybrid of lethal and nonlethal approaches to the game.

- Two new items, one more geared to stealth and concealment and one a bit more direct. Both the items and the new play style will be available in the main game as well as the new level. (more details at a later date).

- Finally, we’ve added a ton of developer commentary to the main game. All the original levels will feature a number of commentary nodes that discuss various aspects of the game’s creation, anecdotes, at least two history lessons and other behind the scenes info from nearly everyone on the team.

- Developer commentary has been fully localized for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese. (Additional details below.)

For anyone who has already played Mark of the Ninja, we’re hoping the Special Edition will give them a reason to revisit the game with both new challenges and insights, much like you’d watch the director’s commentary of one of your favourite movies.

The Special Edition will be available as DLC on Xbox Live Arcade and Steam. It will be released this summer (price still TBD).

Additionally, the Special Edition will be playable in part at PAX East this upcoming weekend at booth #774. If you’re going to be in Boston, we’d love to chat with you and have you check out the game (along with Don’t Starve, of course)!
